Floating Surface Pond Skimmer XL

The floating Surface pond skimmer slides directly over a 160 -110 mm reducer and can than be connected to the pump or filter via a 110 mm tank connector through the pond wall.

The Floating Pond skimmer helps clean the pond surface of all dirt particles. As the skimmer floats it is suitable for most pond depths and self adjusts to changes in the water level. The base and floating parts are made of ABS. Can be used without basket when connected directly with a pre-filter.

Pond Skimmers are a very important and fundamental part of any pond construction, yet are so often overlooked by some pond builders or designers.

Pond Skimmers are designed to remove floating debris, foam bubbles and dust from your pond’s water surface by suction, giving the water a polished look. These easy to install and relatively economical devices can save hours in cleaning and maintenance and really can improve the overall water quality of your pond.

A Wide Mouth Black Skimmer can make all the difference between enjoying a pond and beginning to resent it. A properly functioning skimmer will collect leaves and anything else that lands on the surface of your pond and collect it into a basket, where it can be easily disposed of. Without a pond skimmer you are sentenced to a life of continually having to clean and remove debris from the pond’s surface. The guard itself is manufactured from plastic and completely at home in both fresh and salt water and will safeguard your fish for many years to come.

All the edges of the guard are polished and honed to an ultra smooth finish It is so simple to fit and takes just a couple of minutes.

All You need to do is remove two of the existing stainless steel screws, offer the guard to the opening and replace the two screws. Its that easy!
