What Is A Ginga Koi?

The Ginga koi is a stunning and striking type of koi in the Wagoi group. It looks very different from Doitsu types, like Kumonryu. The Ginga koi has shiny white scales that sparkle brightly. It also has bold black patterns that create a beautiful contrast. The name “Ginga” means “Milky Way,” which fits the koi’s amazing appearance, resembling a galaxy filled with stars. The black (sumi) patterns look like stars moving in the night sky and change with each season. This mix of colours makes the koi even more beautiful.
