What is A Kikusui Koi?

The Kikusui koi is a Doitsu type of the Hariwake koi. It has a stunning two-tone appearance, featuring a white base and patterns in red, orange or yellow. Often called a metallic Doitsu Kohaku koi, the Kikusui is unique for its scale less body and pure white colour. The red patterns stand out against the white. This koi also has a shiny look on its skin, which adds to its charm.
