Overall dimensions are; 540mm long x 250mm wide x 780mm tall.

Supplied with a 2-inch removable spray bar should the user wish to drill more holes.

Extra tiers can be purchased separately should a larger capacity shower be required.

The Bacteria Shower comes with the standard waterfall type base to sit on the pond wall but can be ordered with a piped base if required to allow the outflow to be piped to a certain location.

A two-spray bar top tier of the shower is available if extra water volume is required.

This shower has a recommended maximum flow rate of 4,000 gallons per hour (18,000 litres).

By showering the pond water over the media within this Shower system you improve the dissolved oxygen content and help gas off carbon dioxide. A trickle filter’s operating principle is very simple. The water is pumped up and then well distributed across a perforated surface. This causes the water to splash down on the filter medium like a shower. This method causes the water to break up and absorb a great deal of oxygen: ideal for a biological system that demands a high level of oxygen. This is why a trickle filter starts up faster than other filters, such as multi-chamber systems or bead filters. It therefore stands to reason that this is the system of choice for most cultivation farms.

The recommended flow rate to the system is 20,000lph, and the water outlet is through a weir at the bottom, so this needs to be situation at the pond edge to return the water.

SuperShower’s characteristics:
The SuperShower is a modular system. Every chamber module can be stacked on top of another module. This makes it possible to adjust or expand the filter to meet every need.

The water is pumped into the upper chamber. The water is distributed via a perforated plate, creating a perfect shower. The biofilter medium is located below this plate which is completely infiltrated by this shower. The water then flows through the perforated bottom to the next chamber. Since the chambers are not completely filled with filter media, there is a sufficient drop height for the water to redistribute itself and to break up after each chamber.
The lowest chamber also contains biofilter media. However, the bottom of this chamber is solid and the water flows out of this chamber back to the pond via the 3x 110 mm outlets.
