1.   Koi carp have the potential to grow as large as 120 cm, but any fish that exceeds 100 cm is generally regarded as large. In typical garden ponds, most koi tend to reach a maximum size of around 60 cm. Several factors influence their growth, including genetics, water temperature, diet, available space, and the quality of the water.

2.   Koi fish are remarkably intelligent creatures. They can recognize the person who feeds them and can be trained to eat directly from your hand.
