What Is A All Black Koi?

The Karasugoi, or Karasu, is a type of Koi that is completely black. The word “Karasu” means “crow” in Japanese. Although they are mostly black, they can sometimes have orange, red, white, or yellow bellies. However, these colours are hard to see when you look at the Koi from above. In Japan, people think Karasu Koi bring good luck. Many believe everyone should have one in their pond.
