What Is A Black And White Koi?

The most common types of black and white koi are.

  • Shiro utsuri – defined by there mostly black bodies (sumi) with striking white patterns (shiro) and it has black on its head.
  • Shiro Bekko – defined by its unique non-metallic, two-tone coloration and a white body that serves as a canvas for detailed black markings and it has no black markings on its head.
  • kumonryn- defined by white skin is decorated with a deep black pattern and being doitsu koi.
