What Is A Kanoko Kohaku Koi?

The Kanoko koi is a general term that refers to a “fawn.” In the context of Kohaku, it pertains to the red-dappled variety that features a nearly speckled pattern with a prominent hi marking located in the centre of its body. The dappled pattern can appear as a single hi spot against a background of white scales, although there is often a requirement for several groupings to be present nearby.
