What Is A Kohaku Koi?

The Kohaku Koi is renowned as the oldest and most popular type among koi enthusiasts. These fish are easily identifiable due to their striking white bodies adorned with red patterns. There are two distinct variations of the Kohaku Koi. The first, and most common, features red patterns throughout its body. The second, a unique variant known as the Tancho Kohaku, has a singular red mark situated on the centre of its forehead. This particular variation is quite rare and holds significant value among collectors.
