What Should The PH Be In My Koi Pond?

Koi thrive best at a pH level between 7.0 and 8.6 and they frequently struggle to survive when the pH drops below 6.0. It is vital for the pond water to maintain a consistent pH because the fish rely on keeping a stable pH level in their blood to stay healthy. For Koi to be robust, the pH should remain within the range of 7.0 to 8.6, and it is essential that this pH remains stable within that range. While fish can manage slight fluctuations in pH levels, they can only compensate for changes of up to 0.3 units per day. Ideally, there should be no changes at all.
