How to use:

Use 1 PURE Reef Balance ball per 25 litres of aquarium water, every 2 weeks. Place the balls directly into a filter section or sump. For best results place in an area of water flow. PURE Reef Balance is also suitable for use in filter socks and net bags, fluidised reactors or refugium’s.

Once in the filter, each PURE ball will release beneficial bacteria into the water, shrinking as it does so. A small white bead will remain once the ball is spent. This can be left in with biological media where it will add to the biomass or removed and replaced with new.

Frequent use of PURE Reef Balance will help maintain biological equilibrium and prevent bacterial monocultures from forming in aging filters, live rock and sand. Average contents 60 balls, which will dose a 250-litre aquarium for 12 weeks.

EA PURE+ Aquarium Filter Start Gel

PURE+ Aquarium Filter Start Gel is a live, concentrated bacteria culture for use in new aquarium filters.

The gel-based solution will stick to the filter media, allowing the nitrifying bacteria it contains to rapidly colonise your filter. • Always perform regular water tests using a suitable test kit, especially before adding fish to your aquarium.

• If a UV-C is running, switch it off when dosing and keep switched off for 12 hours after dosing.

PURE+ Aquarium Filter Start Gel will not address problems with green water, a suitable UV-C should be used to clear green water.

EA PURE Aquarium is a combination of the correct strains of bacteria and enzymes delivered in biodegradable balls containing a food source which will achieve the following benefits in a freshwater aquarium.

Regular use of PURE Aquarium will ensure that your fish live in a safe, healthy and crystal-clear environment. We recommend that you use PURE Aquarium as part of your regular maintenance programme. You cannot overdose with PURE Aquarium.

• To maintain crystal clear, healthy water add 1 or 2 PURE Aquarium balls per 25 litres of water once a week. Add the balls directly into your aquarium filter, ideally held in a filter bag.

• If using PURE Aquarium for the first time or if your aquarium has clarity problems, add 5 to 10 balls per 100 litres of water. When water clears, continue to use as described above.
