Mr Koizumi – Filter Start Gel
Mr Koizumi “Filter Start” is a mix of selected Nitrosomonas and Nitrobacter bacteria that actively break down ammonia and nitrite at a temperature from 8°C. Regularly adding these bacteria to the pond filter increases biological action, optimally removing pollutants like ammonia and nitrite and breaking down organic material, thus preventing filter clogging. *Concentrated formular*- MR KOIZUMI “FILTER START GEL” contains around 1 BILLION colony forming units per ml making it one of the highest quality pond filter starters available!

Mr Koizumi – Bio Clear Flocculant
Mr Koizumi “Bio Clear” contains a composition of 6 concentrated bacteria aimed at the direct breakdown of organic material. These bacteria break down sludge and act on suspended dirt particles, making pond water clearer in a natural way. Additionally, Bio clear bacteria consume the same nutrients that algae need to grow, reducing the risk of algae blooms and green water. Bio clear can also be added to the pond filter to prevent blockages, improve water flow rate, and reduce maintenance frequency.

Mr Koizumi – Sludge Remover
Mr Koizumi “Sludge Remover” contains bacteria specially developed to reduce the sludge layer. Regularly adding these bacteria to the pond reduces sludge and deposits on the walls and bottom of the pond. Sludge Remover can also be added to the pond filter to prevent clogging by breaking down organic material. This product is particularly suitable for natural down flow filters with lava or substrate.

Mr Koizumi “Active Lacto-Bac” contains a variety of beneficial components including enzymes, minerals, probiotics, lactic acids, ferment, trace elements, vitamins, and essential amino acids. It helps prevent fungal infections, fin rot, and various bacterial infections. It also promotes faster healing of wounds and minimizes scar tissue formation. By adding lactic acid bacteria, the water’s balance is maintained, pH levels are stabilized, ammonium and nitrite are bound, and the biological filter is supported. Additionally, it reduces algae growth by depriving them of nutrients, strengthens the immune system, and improves digestion in koi and other fish.
