For those Koi and pond enthusiasts who are not as careful as they might be, we do also sell the spare TMC Pro Pond UV Quartz Sleeves in the most standard sizes.

The TMC Pro Pond UV Quartz Sleeve insulates the lamp from the water, allowing the lamp to operate at the optimum performance.

The ultraviolet lamp will remain independent of the flow of water. The TMC Pro Pond UV Quartz Sleeves are of open ended construction and are made from pure fused quartz.

Quartz is extremely transparent over a wide spectral range, with a low coefficient of thermal expansion and quartz is resistant to scratching and thermal shock. Fused quartz is made form crushing and melting natural materials. The purity of quartz is paramount to the efficiency of the lamp and sleeve.

The TMC Pro Clear UV 30 watt & 55 watt uses clean and efficient ultraviolet light to destroy the green, single-celled algae which make garden ponds murky and unattractive. TMC UV Replacement Bulbs

The TMC Replacement UV Bulbs are available for the whole range of the TMC pond UV clarifiers. The T8 Bulbs are available in 2 different wattages with the 110w model requiring 2x 55w Bulbs. Since the UVC clarifier is mostly in constant use, the effect can wear off it is therefore recommended that the lamps be replaced at regular intervals. It is best to think about this in spring so that your clarifier is ready for the whole pond season.
